Wednesday, May 17, 2010: We had a midwife appt today. Lena used the doppler all by herself and found Sophie's heartbeat (140) right away! She was so proud and has been telling me she wants to be a wife (she means midwife)!
Monday, May 15, 2010: Me: "Lena, you are very quiet..." Lena: "Don't worry, Mommy. I am NOT under the table doing nothing, chewing gum I got from your purse!" ...Yeah right!
Thursday, May 5, 2010:
Wednesday, April 13, 2010: Lena and daddy were up in the attic today fixing the bathroom fan. They were singing, "I've got a song in my tummy...." from Laurie Berkner together. It was adorable. Lena kept checking to make sure he was ok and then kept tabs on mommy and Avi downstairs.
Avi realized that she could shake the shape sorter (cookie jar) vigorously to get it to sing, instead of putting the shapes in the correct hole.
Tuesday, April 12, 2010:
Monday, April, 4, 2011: Lena just couldn't wait to hear her new baby's "heart beep" today.
Avila signed "more" and "all done" and then started clapping for herself. She also clapped enthusiastically when she saw daddy in the middle of the day!
Wednesday, March 23, 2011:
Monday, March 21, 2011: Lena: "Mommy, why is the sunshine always sleeping in Buffalo?"
and... as she was ending her prayers for the night,
"God bless America and God bless all those people in Japan"!
Monday, February 7, 2011:
Wednesday, February 2, 2011: Baby Blue took 7 steps today!!!
Monday, February, 1, 2011: It was all quiet in the house and I got nervous. Where was my Baby Blue? She was just here a minute ago! I asked Ruby Red where she could be and she said, "She's in the bathroom getting into trouble, mom". I go in to find her tangled in the toilet paper that was on the roll, shredding it and singing to herself. When I caught sight of her, she started clapping.
Sunday, January 31, 2011: We showed Ruby Red a picture in a medical book of the new baby at week 5. Her response what so cute, "What a cute little mushroom". As I kept flipping through the pages she kept asking to go back to the page with her baby mushroom. It was so funny that I teared up from laughing!
